This is the website of Ocean Falling Productions and Tim Hoban. Ocean Falling Productions is involved in producing stage productions throughout the Pacific Northwest. Tim Hoban is an accomplished actor who has appeared on television, radio, and stage from the Pacific Northwest to the United Kingdom.
The name Ocean Falling comes from a riddle Tim's son Aidan asked, "How would a germ describe a raindrop falling on its back?" The Haiku-like answer was "Ocean Falling." Ocean Falling Productions is a collaboration between Tim and Kristine Hoban and their acting and production friends from around the Pacific Northwest.
Santaland Diaries And Other Stories
Written by David Sedaris Starring Tim Hoban
When your Christmas sugar needs a little spice – be sure to see Broadway Center’s production of the comic story written by David Sedaris, Santaland Diaries. Based on outlandish, but true, chronicles in Santaland (also known as Macy’s Santa display in New York City), you’ll laugh yourself silly listening to Crumpet the Elf’s inside story of what goes on behind Santa’s workshop! This sardonic and merrily subversive tale has become an 'anti-holiday&apos cult classic. Be sure to grab your candy cane, red nose and elf ears because you’re in store for a "holly jolly" with Santaland Diaries.
For mature elves only. Please note: this performance contains adult language.
“. . .David Sedaris’ images, at first sounding commonplace but, with a little twist, weird and absurd, are brilliant little gems of hilarity. . . One will never look at Christmas traditions in quite the same way again.”
